This interactive workshop will engage participants in an exploration of the history of racism, stereotyping, and bias in the American Healthcare system. We will identify strategies to uncover and reduce one's own implicit biases and consider our role as interpreters in recognizing and addressing racism when we encounter it in our work.
Participants are strongly encouraged to complete three implicit Association Tests (https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html) prior to the workshop. This will take about 20 minutes to complete.
